Education:

B.Sc: Ariel university, School of health sciences, Pre-medicine

Research Focus:

Molecular mechanism of resilience to stress: the role of Glucocorticoid Receptor translocation mechanism and its implication on the response to stress.

Ya'acov Evenchik, M.Sc. student

I started my academic career at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem where i got my B.Sc.Med in 2017. The most exciting part of my bachelor degree was neuroscience and therefore i decided to continue in that direction. Prof. Pinhasov accepted me as a M.Sc student in his Laboratory of Behavioural and Molecular Psychiatry at Ariel University. Here i am trying to uncover differences in NMDAR expression between stress resilient and sensitive strains in stressful situations, which i hope will help to reveal the role of glutamatergic system in stress regulation and depression.

Raz Robas, M.Sc. student

Sapir Meninger, M.Sc. student

Sapir Meninger joined Prof. Pinhasov's team in 2017 as a master's student. In her research she studies the gut microbiome of Dominant and Submissive mice, and its role on the adipose tissue, gut tissue, and social behavior.
