Maryia Bairachnaya, PhD student
After receiving my B.Sc and M.Sc degrees at the International State Environmental University (ISEU), Belarus, I was very delighted to have a chance to spend one semester working on a scientific project at Ariel University. I really liked my project and I was keen to continue it. Now I am fortunate to have an exciting opportunity in performing research as PhD student in the Laboratory of Behavior and Molecular Psychiatry under the supervision of Prof. Albert Pinhasov and Dr. Izhak Mihaelevski. In my current research I’m focused on investigation of ageing and related cognitive impairments in a mouse model of resilience and sensitivity to stress.
